Surprised to see several tent campers. Unfortunately the non-potable water for rinsing at the dump itself was not operational. Ice skating in Northern Nevada is a special treat, and Little Washoe Lake is an ideal spot when the conditions cooperate. I pulled in around noon on a Thursday and there were only a few sites open; it was full by 2:00 pm.

Loop B is all dry camping. The bathrooms and showers were clean enough. Great views!

It is located about 20 miles south of Reno in a nice forest of Jeffrey Pines.
Close to Carson City to the south and Reno to the north. With the Nevada State Parks Pass, this is all we paid. Firewood is $5 donation for campground programs. Our fire pit had lots of trash, which we cleaned up before we left. A primitive, but simply gorgeous state park off Hwy 395 between Reno and Carson City in W.Nevada.
