I didn't like this story as much as the "Stolen Magic" story. Major sigh of relief - it's hard to find a good plot line with good writing skills - this one has both. My only sorrow was that dragons are killed of brutally in this book because i love dragons however the fact that their many body parts are turned into gold and jewels is a first and amazing. Well paced storyline that, even though it is fantasy, possesses a plausible structure. It's been a long time since I've read a book that has impacted me as much as Twice Born. I really wanted to explore some of the other myths about the King Arthur legend, and Merlin and Nimue is a doozy! A really enjoyable read.

I would recommend you pick up a copy of the first book, 'Tom's Inheritance', to really immerse yourself in the story and gain double the enjoyment.
