Great trail, shaded and nice. It’s also 9 miles round trip, not the 7 Alltrails claims it to be. The Miller Creek Trail is a part of the Arizona National Scenic Trail.

Also you can hear all the street noises and sirens. The trail occupies what was once a residential neighborhood. With the airport runway expansion, the residential land use became incompatible with airport operations. ***HARD TRAIL*** No idea why this is rated as moderate. This is a section of the Arizona Trail as well, and partly lies within the Saguaro East district. Trail sometime exits woods or grassland and you end up walking by apartments. some areas are very pretty- dense wooded or bridged swamp areas but too much is on the big apartment buildings land or the back of Home Depot.

Boardwalk sections are nice. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips. Trailhead can be accessed with a normal clearance vehicle. It’s a good change from desert vegetation with dead leaves underfoot and some wildflowers but not many. I took my 2 and 3 year old with my on this hike, and it had some stretches I had to carry them through, due to some small drop off points with no rail. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips.Beautiful and easy trail to get to right by Grand Traverse Mall.

Miller Creek Nature Reserve and Horse Fly Trail is a 5.6 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Traverse City, Michigan that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. Overall a nice trail that will take an hour to do if all legs are chosen. Pretty in spring when the river is flowing strong.

The last 2.5 miles to the saddle is much harder.

We loved the boardwalk and even saw 2 pileated woodpeckers.

Have seen raccoons and other wildlife.

The trail is primarily used for hiking.06/05/2020. My 3 year old walked the whole trail with no problem and enjoyed it just as much as I did. Wasn’t so sure about the trail being behind a shopping center, but the hike itself was overall OK.Nice trail, not well marked. My son had fun" The Miller Creek Trail is a connector trail leading deep into the Rincon mountains. Lots of water crossings on trail, about 19 one way. Miller Creek walking trail, a 1 km loop, winds through a small corner of Miller Creek Wildlife Area, classified as a provincially significant wetland. Worth doing but tender expectations. A sure favorite.Fun short loop which was good with a toddler. The creek running through the area is beautiful and gives such wonderful background noise as you walk. The trail is primarily used for hiking. The trails at the Miller Creek Natural area pass through a former Red Pine plantation, skirt the edges of open meadows, wind through beautiful beech forests, cross boardwalks though cedar swamps, and follow Miller Creek, a tributary of the Boardman River. There are some small hills and some muddy areas.

No water there either. Perfect. Beautiful scenery. After approximately four miles, the Miller Creek Trail intersects with the Rincon Peak Trail, from here, you can return the same way you came in or continue on to the top of Rincon Peak.
