I have at least a half dozen problems there, but won't list them out. Could have used a bit of editing down, which would have maintained the tension a little better, but was well worth the watch. The sound design was great, and the story was thrilling (despite the fact that all scientific information presented was new to me). The premise is very cool, perfect for a micro-budget film.My main disappointment, just a few script items. Principal photography on Cosmos lasted approx 60 days. Post production, which was undertaken by just the two directors, lasted 31 months. Also the action section was NOT executed well. Needed an unbiased set of eyes. However, the directors tell an interesting story within something that feels like a proof of concept. Three astronomers accidentally intercept what they believe to be a signal from a distant alien civilization, but the truth is even more incredible than any of them could have imagined.The more films I watch, the more critical I want to be of productions that have seemingly endless resources and still squander them on subpar stories.
