A day later I went online to search for it and discovered it eats earthworms and originates from Asia as it was the species that only has the one black line down its back. It is a common misunderstanding among people that both these types of worms are members of the same group. First, for those unfamiliar with hammerhead worms, here is a little background. They grubbed and rooted around for a couple days and seemed to get almost all of the planaria. I’m not sure if they had a triangular head though as they were very small for me to see that detail.
